Studio Policies

Tuition

  1. Payments
    • Year length tuition is based on a 10 month instruction year, which includes weekly class time, rehearsals, etc. Classes are not billed by the hour. Instead, tuition is to be paid in 10 equal payments/monthly installments. Our Tiny Dancer sessions are the exception to this policy, as their tuition is paid by session. Tuition rates will be the same every month regardless of how many weeks are in a particular month, with the exception of August and June, which may be prorated.
    • Tuition is due on the 1st of each month and will be considered late on the 8th, when a $20 late fee will be assessed.
    • Any student with an overdue balance of more than 60 days will not be allowed into class until payment is received in full, or payment arrangements have been made.
    • Our Tiny Dancer sessions must be paid in full before the start of the session to reserve your spot in the class.
    • Payments should be made online through your account portal. Auto payment is available, and we encourage everyone to use this option. Please contact us if you need assistance choosing the auto payment option.
      1. If choosing the auto payment option, your full tuition balance will be charged on the first day of the month.
  2. Annual Membership fee (optional)
    • Our annual membership fee is $60 (+$30 for additional family members).
    • Members of EDC will receive:
      1. 10% off their regular monthly and session tuition rates
      2. 5% off all dance wear purchases
      3. priority enrollment for new dance sessions and seasons
      4. priority recital ticket purchasing
  3. Absences/Missed Classes
    • Tuition credit will not be given for missed classes due to illness, vacations or personal commitments.
    • Students can make-up a missed class within 8 weeks of an absence, as long as the make-up class falls within the same session/season. Make-up classes can be scheduled through our front desk staff.
